After the basic background had dried, I gave some more colour to the blossoms of the cherry tree. I wanted them to really pop in colour, just like I have seen it so many times in spring.
When that was done, I began portraying one of the inhabitants of my garden.
Looks a bit weird, huh? People who know a bit of Japanese mythology, might be able to guess. ;)
Time to give a little more shape to my guest.
Why...looks like a nine-tailed fox almost. Just the face and some more detail missing now.
Aaaand done. At this point I quit, as it was pretty late and we had to get up rather early today, despite it being Sunday.
So far, so good. I'm pretty happy with the outcome so far. But the hardest part is yet to come (>_<)
At least one more update to come...so stay tuned!
